Curriculum Vitae:

Peipei Shi is a graduate student working under the direction of Professor John Meech at Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering, University of British Columbia, Canada. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Geochemistry form Lanzhou University, China, she has taken the MASc program for graduate study since July 2013. She is working on the project – PHYTOCAT, catalysing the recovery of metals, with an international team that includes the University of British Columbia in Canada, Yale University in the United States and York University in the United Kingdom. This project is focusing on using phytomining techniques to recover Platinum Group Metals from mine waste dumps around the world.
