    Abstract:

    Alkaline melts are widely used in various industries. Due to the high corrosivity of these melts, the question remains on the behaviour of metal oxides in such systems. This paper presents the results of the thermodynamic analysis of previously obtained data on the solubility of a number of metal oxides in molten alkali metal hydroxides.
    It was shown the use of the regular solution model to describe systems molten alkali metal hydroxide-solid oxide.
