Dr. Katerina E. Aifantis, Associate Professor and Faculty Fellow, University of Florida, was honored by FLOGEN with the 2019 Stoddart International Science Award (Official Award Web site here )

Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieve further recognition, Dr. Katerina E. Aifantis, was awarded in December 2019 the George Th. Fotini Award (2019) from the Academy of Athens for the scientific work in Chemistry published at Journal of Power Sources 329 (2016) 372-378 entitled "Si Micropyramid Patterned Anodes that Can Suppress Fracture and Solid Electrolyte Interface Formation during Electrochemical Cycling"
