Curriculum Vitae:
Dr. Jianlin Liu is currently a full professor in Department of Engineering, College of Pipeline & Civil Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Huadong). His main research interest deals with soft matter mechanics, applied mathematics, nonlinear mechanics in structures and micro/nano-mechanics. Jianlin Liu has investigated the Elasto-capillarity phenomena, the buoyant force of the water strider leg, the superhydrophobic secret of lotus, the buckling of slender rod, and the surface effct in nanomaterials.
He has published two chapters of continuum mechanics in Englishi, and more than 30 journal papers indexed by SCI. Jianlin Liu is listed in the editorial board in several journals, including Modern Physcis (in Chinese), Letters in Applied NanoBioScience, Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences and World Journal of Mechanics.
