    A brief resume of innovation and entrepreneurship achievements across history, countries and levels of development is described followed by several suggested comprehensive pathways to achieve a sustainable innovative and entrepreneurial society. The role of science and engineering is particularly stressed along with the need to heavily invest in these directions for a sustainable future
