Dr. Sandeep K. Vashist is the Global IVD Director at Pictor Pvt. Ltd., Auckland, New Zealand. He is the Executive Board Member, Advisor and Founder of some biotechnology, diagnostic and healthcare companies. He was the Global R&D Director at Trivitron Healthcare/Labsystems Diagnostics; Senior Discovery and R&D Manager at IDS Immunodiagnostics Systems Deutschland GmbH; and held several leading positions at Vallo Med Health Care GmbH, Hahn-Schickard, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company Ireland. He has invented and pioneered the development of many IVD technologies, products and devices, which have been successfully commercialized and received FDA 510K approvals and CE certification. He has over 300 scientific publications in very high impact journals, conferences, and books; and is the main Editor for 3 reputed books. Further, Dr. Vashist is the lead inventor on 11 patents and is the Editor and Reviewer for several reputed journals, funding agencies, and, organisations. His research interests include IVD, POCT, mobile healthcare, multiplex detection, and smart technologies.
