Abstract:

An assessment of current efforts to design next-generation renewable batteries is provided. Mechanics and electrochemistry aspects are presented on materials, geometry/topology, and size of both electrodes and binder. The feasibility of current laboratory research to be transferred to pilot and industrial scale is discussed. An assessment of current efforts to design next-generation renewable batteries is provided.
