Dr. Florian Kongoli, President of SIPS and President of FLOGEN, awarding Prof. R Russell Rhinehart II, Oklahoma State University with the 2013 Fray International Sustainability Award during SIPS 2013 in San Diego, California

Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieve further recognition, Prof. R Russell Rhinehart II, was elected in September 2019 as Fellow of American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

This is shown in the Official Institute web site [here]

Fellow is AIChE's highest grade of membership and is achieved only through election by the AIChE Board of Directors, generally upon recommendation of the AIChE Admissions Committee through whom all nominations for election to Fellow are processed.

As usual, with its prestigious awards, FLOGEN has opened and/or validated the pathway to further high honors for individuals who have greatly contributed to science and technology, as detailed in previous similar cases given in these pages

We wish similar future successes for all 2016 FLOGEN Award winners that were honored in SIPS during the years as documented in the pages of this Web Site.
