Dr. Florian Kongoli is in Corumbá, the third largest city in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The city has of of the most important river harbours in South America and in the World.

Known as the "White City", because of the calcareous sand found on the margins and riverbanks of the Paraguay River. It is the "entry port" to the Brazilian Pantanal, one of the six biomes in Brazil.
