Rina Singh

Short Bio:

Dr Rina Singh did her Doctorate in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She received her B.Sc and M.Sc degree in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 2000 and 2002. She then joined Materials Science and Technology Department Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and received her M.Tech degree with 9.2 CGPA in 2004. She was awarded President Gold medal for M.Tech degree. She joined Council and Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR) as a Scientist in year 2005 and has been working there since then. She has almost 12 years of research experience in various areas like fabrication of metal based nanoparticles using laser ablation, catalysis, air and water pollution, photonics etc. She is an editorial member and reviewer of various SCI and international journals. She has published more that 40 research papers in reputed scientific journals and conference proceedings. Her current research interest includes environmental nanotechnology, surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), development of Plasmonics sensors, and innovative catalytic materials for environmental remediation.
