Short Bio:

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences (JIHT RAS) currently working under my personal project supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research 'Multi-scale models of extended crystal defects in nuclear materials'. My speciality includes both experimental and computational studies related to dislocations and radiation effects in nuclear materials. I have earned my doctorate degree in December, 2014 from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow, Russia). My thesis was focused on studying the impact of ion irradiation on the microstructure of oxide nuclear fuel, including the accumulation and re-distribution of dislocation density. My current research at JIHT RAS is aimed at developing models for predicting the formation and evolution of complex defect ensembles, including networks of dislocations, pores, and point defects in nuclear materials. While working in this direction, I have been developing a computer code for dislocation dynamics simulation and conducting atomistic simulations on supercomputers to gather the necessary input data (e.g., dislocation mobilities, obstacle strength, etc.).I have recently received a Young Researcher Award at the latest Nuclear Materials Conference in Montpellier France. In addition to publishing high-quality articles, I have served as a guest editor of the 'Defects and Diffusion Phenomena in Materials for Nuclear Technologies, Defect and Diffusion Forum, v. 375'.
