Short Bio:

Juma Haydary, MSc., PhD. is an associate Professor of Chemical Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His main fields of research are: Renewable energy process design, Material and energy recycling of complex waste mixtures, Pyrolysis and gasification of biomass and solid wastes, modelling,simulation and optimisation of processes using Aspen Plus and Aspen HYSYS. Teaching curses: Chemical engineering unit operations, Heat transfer and energy engineering, Computer process design, Separation processes, Process design, simulation and optimisation. He was principle investigator of 10 research projects. He is author or co-author of 4 books, 30 journal papers and more than 120 conference proceeding papers. Reviewer of scientific journals, such as Fuel (Elsevier), Journal of Analytical and applied Pyrolysis (Elsevier),Journal of Hazardous materials(Elsevier, Journal of Chemical environmental engineering ,(Elsevier, Chemical Papers(Springer)and others.
