Antonio de Lucas Consuegra

Short Bio:

Dr. Antonio de Lucas-Consuegra, is an Associate Professor of the Chemical Engineering Department of the Chemistry Science and Technology Faculty of the University of Castilla La Mancha. He received from the same university, his Ph.D. with honour (cum laude) on Chemical Engineering. His research interests focus on electrocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, electrolysis and electrochemical promotion of catalytic reactions. He has authored up to 60 publications and more than 80 oral and posters presentation in National and International conferences. He has also supervised 4 PhD students on the field of electrocatalysis and Electrochemical Promotion of Catalysis. He has been the Principal Investigator of two research projects with companies devoted to the implementation of some Electrocatalytic processes in industrial energy applications systems and 1 research Regional project with a total funding about 300.000 euros. Antonio de Lucas Consuegra teachs diferent subjects on the Chemical Engineering degree of the University of Castilla La Mancha (Fluid Mechanics, Basic Operation Units, Renewable Energy and Integrated teaching Lab) as well as in the Chemical Engineering Master (New Technologies on Energy and Environment).
