Short Bio:Maria Manuela Silva obtained a Research Assistant position in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Minho (1991). She received her PhD in Chemistry in 1999 and was promoted to Assistant Professor at the same University, where she is now Full Professor. Her research activities focus on the synthesis and characterisation of solid polymer electrolytes and their application in the domains of solid-state electrochemistry (batteries and electrochromic devices). She is also interested in the chemistry of organic-inorganic hybrid materials. She is co-author of more 215 papers in SCI journals, 35 papers in Proceedings and 7 book chapters. |
