PhD in economics of technological change at UNU and holds MBA in trade and investments, Master in Applied Business Economics in corporate planning, MA in development studies (economic policy and planning) at the Institute of Social
Studies in the Hague, Netherlands. Twenty years professional experience as central and development banker with last job as post evaluation specialist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Lecturer in economics; finance; supply chain;
management; statistics; economics; CSR, ethics and
sustainability. Researcher at SIB specializing in CSR, Earth Charter and SDGs, ethics and sustainability, circular and regenerative economy as well as sustainable finance, sustainable production (manufacturing), sustainable management, and sustainable supply chain. Authored and co-authored conference papers on circular
economy and input-output analysis, national innovation systems, community innovation surveys, and economics of debt-equity swaps. Member of the working group Social Sciences and Humanities for Transformation and Climate
Resilience (SHiFT) of the European Cooperation on Science and Technology (COST). He also is an Earth Charter educator and completed masters course on the Earth Charter with the United Nations for Peace in Costa Rica.
