Short Bio:Lalaonirina Rakotomanana Ravelonarivo is currently Professor Emeritus at the Institut de Recherche Mathématique de Rennes (IRMAR), Université de Rennes (France). He received his doctorate from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland). After being a lecturer at the University of Antsiranana (Madagascar), he joined the Medical Engineering Laboratory of the Physics Department at EPFL and appointed senior lecturer and privat-docent of the Medicine School (Lausanne University, Switzerland). Then, he joined the IRMAR as a full professor. His teaching and research cover mathematical methods, differential geometry applied to mechanics and physics. He is author of four books and published more than 150 papers with review. |
