SYMPOSIUM and ROUND TABLE TOPICS
The McClintock International Symposium on Epigenetics for Sustainable Medicine aims to bring together leading scientists, researchers, and professionals to explore the fundamental and applied aspects of epigenetics in advancing sustainable medicine. The symposium will highlight how epigenetic mechanisms influence human health, disease prevention, and therapeutic innovation, with a focus on environmentally responsive, personalized, and globally sustainable healthcare solutions. Emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary approaches integrating biology, medicine, data science, and public health to address current and future challenges.

Topics include, but are not limited to:
  • Epigenetic mechanisms: DNA methylation, histone modifications, and chromatin remodeling
  • Regulation of gene expression through epigenetic processes
  • Epigenetic biomarkers for disease prevention and early diagnosis
  • Epigenetics in cancer, metabolic, cardiovascular, and neurodegenerative diseases
  • Environmental and lifestyle influences on the epigenome
  • Nutrition, aging, stress, and transgenerational epigenetic inheritance
  • Precision medicine and epigenetic-based personalized therapies
  • Pharmacogenomics and pharmacoepigenetics
  • Epigenetic drug development and clinical applications
  • Epigenome editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR-based approaches)
  • Epigenetics in stem cells and regenerative medicine
  • nduced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and cellular reprogramming
  • Artificial intelligence and computational approaches in epigenetics
  • Multi-omics integration and epigenomic data analysis
  • Epigenetics in public health and epidemiology
  • Health disparities and global sustainable healthcare strategies
  • Ethical, legal, and policy considerations in epigenetics
  • Emerging trends and future directions in epigenetics for sustainable medicine
