incorporated in Canada and USA that today have offices and representations in more than 15 Countries around the the world while carrying out high tech projects in more than 40 countries.

Since 2007 he is Chairman of FLOGEN STAR OUTREACH (www.flogen.org), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to (1) achieving sustainability through science and technology, (2) raising the profile of science and engineering in the society and (3) properly honoring scientists and engineers.

Since 2003 Dr Kongoli has been President of the Organizing Committee of the Sustainable Industrial Processing Summits (SIPS) held every year in several countries around the world with an average participation of 500 authors from academia, industry, government and the entrepreneurship world representing an average of 80 countries.

Dr Kongoli has about 25 years of rich scientific and applied technology experience through direct involvement in numerous invited engagements in all continents. He has managed, involved, or actively participated in about 200 projects, 40 types of reactors, 10 industries, in 45 countries and in 6 continents. Dr. Kongoli has published 113 books and more than 200 scientific articles. He has delivered in numerous countries around the world about 220 plenary, keynote and invited presentations as well as articles, technical reports and research presentations. He has served in many leadership positions in national and international organizations and in many Professional Award Councils such as the Industrial Achievement Award Committee of International Federation of Automatic Control. He is Editorial Board member of several International Journals.

He is an elected Honorary Member of the Lorraine Academy of Sciences and Elected Member of Euro Mediterranean Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was awarded in 2017 the title "The Environmental Tech CEO of the year 2017" by CEO-Monthly UK magazine. He was awarded Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contribution toward sustainable development through FLOGEN Sustainability Framework by Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic)/Faculty of Applied Informatics. He is honorary Citizen of Rio de Janeiro and Laureate of Gold Medal of the City of Nancy, France. In 2022 he was honored by the Congressman elect of Rio de Janeiro State, Alan Lopes, who will propose to the State Congress to adopt FLOGEN Sustainability Framework developed by Dr. Florian Kongoli in the state law for evaluating any proposed public or private project in the state. Also, in 2022 he was invited to give the Opening Sustainability Plenary Lecture at the United Nation Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on 11 February 2022 about FLOGEN Sustainability Framework at the International Year of Glass 2022.

Anastassios (Tassos) Bountis is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Mathematics, University of Patras, Greece. He has been the director of the Center for Research and Application of Nonlinear Systems of the University of Patras, and the Laboratory of Nonlinear Systems https://thalis.math.upatras.gr/~crans/ In 2014 he was elected Corresponding Member of the Academy of Athens in the chair of complex systems. He was the recipient of the 2014 Charles Hermite Science Ambassador Award of Saar/Germany and the 2009 Academy of Athens Award for “Dynamical Systems”. In 2015 he was elected member of the European Academy of Science and Arts, at Salzburg, Austria.
He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Rochester, N.Y., in 1978, and has taught at CalTech in 1979 and as Assistant and Associate Professor at Clarkson University in the U.S.A. until 1985. He has been invited lecturer and researcher in several countries in Europe, Mexico, India, Japan, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and South Korea. His research has been supported by many U.S., European and Greek grants, most recently (2010 – 2012) by an ERA-Complexity NET project, called “Complex Matter” involving the University of Patras and 3 other European Universities (125000 euro), a “Thalis” project on the Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems 2012 – 2015 (600000 euro) and an ORAU grant from Nazarbayev University, 2017 – 2020 (360000 USD), where he worked as a Professor of Mathematics 2016 – 2020.
He has organized in Greece 5 international conferences, 33 Greek summer schools on “Nonlinear Dynamics and Complexity” and 5 International PhD Schools on “Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems”, 2011 at Patras, and July 2012 at Pescara, Italy, 2013 in Crete, 2014 in Athens and 2015 at Patras. He has authored (or co-authored) 7 books in Greek on dynamical systems and fractals and one in English on “Complex Hamiltonian Dynamics” (Springer Synergetics, 2012). He has edited (or co-edited) 7 volumes of international conference proceedings and 10 volumes of Greek conference proceedings. He has supervised 20 M.Sc. theses and 15 Ph.D. theses and is on the Editorial Board of 5 International Journals. He has published 165 papers in refereed journals and 58 in conference proceedings, and has nearly 6000 citations, h-index: 40, g-index: 70 (Google Scholar).

Dr Mark William Johnson is transdisciplinary researcher and lecturer in the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Manchester. He has a PhD in cybernetics and education and an undergraduate degree in music. Cybernetics led to his interest in the work of Peter Rowlands. In his published work, he has applied the ideas of nilpotent quantum mechanics to the understanding of AI, music, education and the system dynamics of biological systems.

Mike Mikalajunas has a degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. He has taken part in a
number of research projects with various faculty members from different departments in the same University where he graduated from. This
would include a long term flight simulation project in conjunction with the department of Mechanical Engineering and Canadian Aviation
Electronics (CAE). Also included are some software development work related to a program called AUTO, "Continuation and Bifurcation
Problems in Ordinary Differential Equations" http://indy.cs.concordia.ca/auto/ in conjunction with the department of Computer Science. Other
professional activities going back as far as in the mid 80's included taking part with Dr. Robert Carbone for the launching of a new software
consulting company that would provide much greater software accessibility on the PC for large corporations as an alternative to the use of very

maintaining and supporting the company's own leading Futurcast statistical software package within the giant pharmaceutical company
Boehringer Ingelheim. Under a special license agreement he would be responsible in part for running the entire sales forecasting and assumption
reporting software on a monthly basis for the international division of Boehringer Ingelheim that provide services to over 100 countries from
around the world in order to meet each of the countries own total manufacturing process requirements. At the same time while all of these
various projects were going on, Mike Mikalajunas was also very extensively involved in the search for some form of a unified theory of
analytical integration that would be driven entirely by computation only. His preliminary results in the form of a universal computational
algorithm were made public between 1981 and 1983 to various professional conferences involving three of the largest mathematical societies in
the world, (1) "New algorithm for integrating PDEs" (SIAM) 1981 Fall Meeting, Cincinnati Ohio (2) "Representing a PDE in terms of an

algorithm received general acceptance for presentation at 2 major International Conferences on Computational Methods in Auckland New
Zealand (ICCM2015) and at Berkeley University (ICCM2016). This was followed by another one in Melbourne Australia "13th International
Conference on the Mechanical Behavior of Materials, June 2019". Many Universities have also expressed a great deal of interest for the
presentation of his work at one of their regular internal seminars in Engineering and Mathematics. These included from the department of
Mechanical Engineering, Carleton University, the University of California at Davis and the University of Memphis. Also included, the
Purdue School of Engineering & Technology in Indianapolis, the School of Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University and finally, the
department of Mathematics at the City University of New York. This has also attracted some degree of interest from NASA which as a result of
having attended one of their highly advanced Physics Workshop "NASA Fundamental Physics Workshop April, 2018, La Jolla, CA", Mike

Dr. Miller had been in active academic and private medical practice for over 35 years. A series of observations during that career stimulated research in evolutionary biology from the non-traditional perspective of cellular cognition and the microbiome. Seven books and fifty peer-reviewed academic publications have followed, forming a major body of work concentrating on the role of cognition, information, and the microbiome in biology. Dr. Miller is the architect of Cognition-Based Evolution as a peer-accepted comprehensive alternative to conventional Darwinism. This novel framework emphasizes the roles of cellular intelligence, cell-cell communication, and natural viral- cellular engineering as the cornerstone processes in evolution. His first textbook on this topic, Cognition-Based Evolution: Natural Cellular Engineering and the Intelligent Cell was recently published by Taylor and Francis/CRC Press. In his work, Dr. Miller emphasizes Peter Rowland's nilpotent mechanics and a Zero Totality Alphabet as contributing significantly to our conceptual understanding reticulate biological evolution and the relationship of scale-independence and self-similarity to living systems.

Peter Rowlands graduated BSc and PhD in physics from the University of Manchester. He worked for a number of years in industry and as a college lecturer. He has been a Research Fellow in Physics at University of Liverpool since 1987 and Hon. Governor of Manchester College, Oxford since 1993. DR. Rowlands has authored 12 books and more than 200 papers. He was awarded for best Symposium paper at the CASYS conferences in Liège in 2005, 2007 and 2009. He mostly recently received the 2018 Scientific Award from the R. M. Santilli Foundation ‘For unprecedented insights in the axiomatic structure of the Dirac equation’

Sir Ruggero Maria Santilli was born and educated in Italy where he achieved his Ph.D. wth the highest possible education in mathematics and physics, as well as a chair in nuclear physics at the Avogadro Institute in Turin.

In 1967, Sir Santilli was invited by the University of Miami in Florida to conduct research for NASA and he moved with his family to the U.S.A. where he subsequently became a U.S. citizen.

In 1968, he joined the faculty of Boston University, under partial support from the U.S. Air Force, where he taught physics and mathematics from prep courses to seminar post-Ph.D. courses.

From 1974 to 1977, Sir Santilli was a visiting scientist at MIT and, from 1978 to 1983, he was a member of the Department of Mathematics of Harvard University under support by the U. S. Department of Energy to study a generalization of quantum mechanics and chemistry needed for new clean energies and fuels.

Since 1984, Sir Santilli is the President of and Professor of Physics at the Institute for Basic Research, originally located in a Victorian House within the compound of Harvard University and moved to Florida in 1990.

Sir Santilli is the author of some 350 technical articles and 20 post Ph.D. level monographs in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology published the world over. He is the founding editor of three journals in mathematics and physics and editor of several others.

Sir Santilli is known in mathematics for the discovery of he new iso-, geno- and hyper mathematics for matter and their isoduals for antimatter. Sir Santilli is known in physics, chemistry and biology for the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen completion of quantum into hadronic mechanics, hadronic chemistry and hadronic biology, with advances in each of the indicated fields that are impossible for quantum mechanics.

From 2007 to 2013, Sir Santilli has been the Head Scientist of Magnegas Corporation (a U. S. company with stock traded at NASDAQ under the symbol MNGA) that has developed a new gaseous fuels with complete combustion internationally sold under the name of "magnegas". Subsequently, Sir Santilli has been the Chairman of the Board and Head Scientist o the publicly traded company Thunder Energies Corporation for the development of new clean chemical and nuclear energies.

Sir Santilli is the recipient of numerous prestigious prizes such as: the listing among the most illustrious applied mathematicians of all times; two gold medals for scientific merits; the listing as "Santilli Hall" of a class-room at an Australian research center; the "Star of Italy" by the Italian President Sergio Mattarella; the knighting by the Republic of San Marino as a member of the millenary equestrian order of Sant'Agata with the title of Sir, and others awards.

Ephraim Suhir is on the faculty of the Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, and is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA. He is Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 500+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous plenary, keynote, invited and contributed talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”). Erik Trell was born in Trollhättan Sweden June 4, 1939. Married with Lena Margareta Alm. Children Karl Oskar born 1974 and Kristina Elisabet born 1975.

He started medical studies 1960, and after graduation first served as resident and then associate professor in Internal Medicine and Cardiology under professor Jan Waldenström, Malmö General Hospital, University of Lund 1968-73. In 1973, continuing as associate professor under professor Bertil Hood at the department of Internal Medicine he planned and designed the centre of Preventive Medicine, Malmö General Hospital, University of Lund, which he directed and ran 1973-1982. This brought him in closer contact with Primary Health Care, Community Medicine and Health Promotion, and 1982-1987 he served as associate professor in Family Medicine (Allmänmedicin/General Medicicine), Department of Community Medicine, Malmö General Hospital, University of Lund, obtaining there his specialist degree also in Family Medicine.

In 1987 he was appointed full professor and chief, Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences (‘Health University’), University of Linköping, Sweden; retiring in 2006 but staying on as professor emeritus, and from 2006 and onwards he serves in General Practise as ‘district doctor’ in Karlstad.

This rich clinical spectrum opened a wide scientific/research and development (R&D) range, and also resulted in several advisory functions, e.g with International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon; on Health Policy, alcohol disorders and Preventive Medicine in WHO; development and implementation of PHC services and research on Crete; computerized Maternal and Child Health Care (MCHC) systems in India, PHC education and training programs in Albania, and others.

Due to the forefront nature of his clinical and R&D engagements there are many first/early publications, especially in Preventive Medicine, where in the seventies he was the internationally most cited researcher with reports in leading journals like Alcohol, American Journal of Epidemiology (n=3), American Journal of Medicine (n=4), Angiology, Atherosclerosis, British Medical Journal (n=4), Cancer, Diabetologia, Hypertension, JAMA, Lancet (n=10), Postgraduate Medical Journal (n=3), Preventive Medicine (n=3), and Thorax. Among the ‘firsts’ articles can be quoted the whole Malmö Preventive Program (MPP) institution for multiphasic health screening and intervention in the population, including glucose tolerance test and mammographic units; the computer system for its online monitoring and interactive questionnaire, the inclusion in MPP of alcohol-related disabilities, smoking-related cancer, and prediabetes; the transferal of the preventive program from staffed testing to internet/mobile phone “HealthOmeter” self-distribution; local area dementia prevention; developing MCHC in India; implementing PHC care and education on Crete and in the Balkans, and others.

His mathematical/physical studies started in the 1970’s and are directed to an algebraic/structural derivation of the elementary particle and periodic table symmetries following the original works of Marius Sophus Lie and bringing him in wide collaborations i.a. in Norway, USA, England, Russia, Nigeria and India. He has written some 40 papers on the subject and is co-founder and Vice President of IMBIC, Kolkata 2006- , and served as Vice President of Calcutta Mathematical Society, 2007-2011.

Louis Kauffman was born in Potsdam, New York on Feb. 3, 1945. He graduated from Norwood Norfolk Central High School in 1962 as valedictorian. He received the degree of B.S. in Mathematics from MIT in 1966. Kauffman was awarded a PhD. in Mathematics by Princeton University in 1972. He became Professor of Mathematics Emeritus at University of Illinois at Chicago in May of 2017.

Kauffman's research is in algebraic topology and particularly in low dimensional topology and knot theory, and their relationships with mathematical physics and natural science. His work in the early 1970’s on higher dimensional knotting and exotic structures on higher dimensional manifolds uses generalizations of branched covering constructions, and is fundamental to the topological understanding of these structures articulated via Brieskorn varieties and links of algebraic singularities. These constructions for non standard differentiable structures remain mysterious to this day, and are surely linked with fundamental physics – just as was the case for the manifolds studied by Brieskorn. Kauffman discovered a state summation model for the Alexander - Conway polynomial in 1980 and the bracket polynomial state model for the Jones polynomial in 1985 . These state models constitute the first direct application of partition functions to the construction of knot invariants. In the case of the bracket polynomial model, Kauffman showed that this state summation is a version of the Potts model in statistical mechanics - translated to knot diagrams. He discovered a two variable generalization of the original Jones polynomial that is called the semi-oriented or Kauffman polynomial. Since these discoveries his work has been primarily directed to the structure of the new invariants of knots and links. The bracket model led Kauffman, Murasugi and (independently) Thistlethwaite to proofs of the Tait conjectures about the topological invariance of number of crossings for reduced alternating link projections. His research in Virtual Knot Theory has opened up a new field of knot theory and has resulted in the discovery of many new invariants of knots and links. In particular, the state structure in the Kauffman Bracket was used by Mikhail Khovanov to create the theory of Khovanov Homology for knots, producing new and subtle invariants. Dye, Kauffman and Kaestner, using constructions of Manturov generalized Khovanov Homology to virtual knot theory and accomplished a new version of the Rasmussen invariant in that way. This gave rise to a determination of the 4-ball genus of positive virtual knots and Kauffman applied this result to obtain a corresponding determination of the reconnection numbers for knotted vortices corresponding to positive knots and links.

Kauffman’s work on knotoids with Neslihan Gugumcu and with Eleni Panagiotou has led to a number of applications to studies of open knotted long chain molecules and relationships with protein folding. The work on knotoids is of interest by itself for its applications to chirality of knotoids and other new invariants for them that are obtained by generalizing the original state summation model for the Alexander polynomial discovered by Kauffman in 1980. This Formal Knot Theory state summation now has a wide application to knotoids and to knots in the thickened torus, and is under intense scrutiny.

Kauffman’s work on Temperley-Lieb Recoupling Theory with Sostenes Lins led to new approaches, in joint work with Sam Lomonaco, to the Fibonacci model (Kitaev) for topological quantum computing. He has recently worked on representations of the Artin braid group related to the structure of Majorana Fermions and relations to the Dirac equation and to nipotent solutions of the Dirac equation in the sense of Peter Rowlands. He is presently working on specific problems about reconnection and chirality in knotted vortices and for knots in liquid crystals (ongoing work with Ivan Smalyuk).

Kauffman’s work in topology and mathematical physics is directly related to his work on foundations, diagrammatic systems, form and logic. He has written numerous papers on the idea of distinction in relation to form and mathematical form, the structure of replication in logic and biology, the structure of recursion and self-reference, fractals, quaternionic fractals and most generally the relation of sign and space in the sense of Charles Sanders Peirce and George Spencer-Brown. He has applied these concepts to graph theory and to knot theory, to quantum information theory and to other problems in topology.

Kauffman is the author of four books on knot theory (three in Princeton University Press and one in World Scientific Press), a book on map coloring and the reformulation of mathematical problems, Map Reformulation (Princelet Editions;London and Zurich (1986)) and is the editor of the World-Scientific 'Book Series On Knots and Everything'. He is the Editor in Chief and founding editor of the Journal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications.

Kauffman is the recipient of a 1993 University Scholar Award by the University of Illinois at Chicago and he is the 1993 recipient of the 1993 Warren McCulloch Memorial Award of the American Society for Cybernetics for significant contributions to the field of Cybernetics the 1996 award of the Alternative Natural Philosophy Association for his contribution to the understanding of discrete physics, the 2014 Norbert Wiener Medal from the American Society for Cybernetics. He is the recipient of the Lester R. Ford Award of the Mathematical Association of America (1978) and the Lester R. Ford and Paul Halmos Award of the Mathematical Association of America (2015) in expository writing for articles with Thomas Banchoff (1978) and Allison Henrich (2015) in the American Mathematical Monthly. He is the recipient of the Bertalanffy prize for outstanding work in complexity thinking (2016). He is Past President of the American Society for Cybernetics (2005-2008) and a former Polya Lecturer for Mathematical Association of America (2008 2010). He was elected a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society in 2014. Kauffman writes a column “Virtual Logic” for the Journal Cybernetics and Human Knowing and he plays clarinet in the Chicago-based ChickenFat Klezmer Orchestra.
