Dr. Florian Kongoli holds 3 degrees: a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science/University of Montreal, Canada and a Doctor of Science Degree/Tohoku University, Japan. Since 1996 he is CEO of FLOGEN Technologies Inc.,(www.flogen.com) a Sustainable High Tech applied research institute
incorporated in Canada and USA that today have offices and representations in more than 15 Countries around the the world while carrying out high tech projects in more than 40 countries.

Since 2007 he is Chairman of FLOGEN STAR OUTREACH (www.flogen.org), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to (1) achieving sustainability through science and technology, (2) raising the profile of science and engineering in the society and (3) properly honoring scientists and engineers.

Since 2003 Dr Kongoli has been President of the Organizing Committee of the Sustainable Industrial Processing Summits (SIPS) held every year in several countries around the world with an average participation of 500 authors from academia, industry, government and the entrepreneurship world representing an average of 80 countries.

Dr Kongoli has about 25 years of rich scientific and applied technology experience through direct involvement in numerous invited engagements in all continents. He has managed, involved, or actively participated in about 200 projects, 40 types of reactors, 10 industries, in 45 countries and in 6 continents. Dr. Kongoli has published 113 books and more than 200 scientific articles. He has delivered in numerous countries around the world about 220 plenary, keynote and invited presentations as well as articles, technical reports and research presentations. He has served in many leadership positions in national and international organizations and in many Professional Award Councils such as the Industrial Achievement Award Committee of International Federation of Automatic Control. He is Editorial Board member of several International Journals.

He is an elected Honorary Member of the Lorraine Academy of Sciences and Elected Member of Euro Mediterranean Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was awarded in 2017 the title "The Environmental Tech CEO of the year 2017" by CEO-Monthly UK magazine. He was awarded Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contribution toward sustainable development through FLOGEN Sustainability Framework by Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic)/Faculty of Applied Informatics. He is honorary Citizen of Rio de Janeiro and Laureate of Gold Medal of the City of Nancy, France. In 2022 he was honored by the Congressman elect of Rio de Janeiro State, Alan Lopes, who will propose to the State Congress to adopt FLOGEN Sustainability Framework developed by Dr. Florian Kongoli in the state law for evaluating any proposed public or private project in the state. Also, in 2022 he was invited to give the Opening Sustainability Plenary Lecture at the United Nation Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, on 11 February 2022 about FLOGEN Sustainability Framework at the International Year of Glass 2022.

He has participated in business and government delegations in numerous countries accompanying Prime Ministers, Ministers and other government officials.

Dr. Koji Abe was born at Japan 1956. After finished Medical School of Tohoku University in 1981, he started carrier of doctor at Department of Neurology, Tohoku University Hospital. At the period of post graduate school of Tohoku University 1983-1987, he started neurological research especially on oxidative stress and stroke. He also interested various fields out of medicine., and He is also a certified sommelier through the certification examination of the Japan Sommelier Association during Associate professor, Tohoku University 1995-1998. He was appointed professor at 1998 Department Neurology, Okayama University. Professor Koji Abe has been publishing more than 850 papers on stroke, cerebral blood flow and metabolism, and neurodegenerative diseases. His research interests cover many important fields of neurology especially in the mechanism of ischemic brain damage, gene and stem cell therapy, neuroprotection, and neuroimaging. He was the past president of the International Society of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (CBFM), and organized World CBFM meeting in Osaka in 2007 and Japan Neurology Meeting, where more than 8,000 neurologists come join in Okayama City in 2020. He also served Presidents of both Vas-Cog Japan and Vas-Cog Asia societies. He is now Head of National Center Hospital of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP) in Tokyo, and managing many national projects for neurology and psychiatry and for basic neurosciences and clinical studies.

He has been at the forefront of acute stroke treatment and has been involved in clinical and research work, including the development of brain protection therapy using the antioxidant edaravone, which is now used around the world. Brain Protection Therapy is a treatment to protect brain cells from necrosis due to stroke, and has spread from Japan to Europe, China, Korea, and the United States. It was the first in the world to be covered by insurance for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) as well as stroke. He also found a Japanese family lineage in which an ROS-scavenging SOD1 gene mutation was responsible in about 20% of familial ALS. In addition, he discovered SCA36 (nick name is Asidan), an autosomal dominant genetic disorder with both cerebellar ataxia and ALS clinical features. This Asidan diseases is caused by an abnormal expansion of the GGCCTG repeats located in intron 1 of the NOP56 gene. He is also the first scientist in the world to prove its effectiveness in a clinical study for dementia prevention using the antioxidant supplement Twendee X.

Dr Cho’s main research interests have been focusing on cancer studies to discover biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, treatment prediction and prognostication. As a seasoned researcher, Dr Cho has conducted cancer research in using molecular biology, proteomics, genomics, immunology as well as bioinformatics, his current H-index is about 84.

Dr. Cho has published more than 600 peer-reviewed papers (Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Advanced Science, Nature Communications, PNAS, Molecular Cancer, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Journal of the National Cancer Institute, Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Clinical Cancer Research, Clinical Chemistry, Theranostics, etc.) covering cancer biomarkers, proteomics, non-coding RNA, traditional Chinese medicine, and dozens of books (including “An Omics Perspective on Cancer Research”, “MicroRNAs in Cancer Translational Research”, “Drug Repurposing in Cancer Therapy: Approaches and Applications”, “Supportive Cancer Care with Chinese Medicine” and “Resistance to Anti-CD20 antibodies and approaches for their reversal”, etc).

Dr Cho has been included in the world's top 2% most influential scientists in the Stanford’s list since 2017. Recently, Dr Cho is also listed in the Highly Cited Researchers in 2023 by Clarivate.

Prof. Koji Fukui, 50, studied at Shibaura Institute of Technology, which is the leading private engineering university in kanto area of Japan. He graduated and completed a PhD degree in 2003 at Shibaura Institute of Technology.

Between 2003 and 2004, Prof. Fukui worked as a post-doctoral student in the third internal medicine of Faculty of medicine at Wakayama Medical University. Between 2004 and 2008, Prof. Fukui worked as an Assistant Professor in Faculty of science at Hokkaido University. After 2008, Professor Fukui began his career at Shibaura Institute of Technology. Between 2014 and 2015, Professor Fukui went to study abroad in Translational Gerontology Branch at National Institute on Aging. His research is based on a fusion of engineering, medicine and science.
He is currently a board member of director of the Society for Japanese Biomedical and Gerontology, and a Chair of 2024 annual meeting, a local organizing committee member of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics-Asia Oceania Region 2023. He is an executive director of Journal of Clinical Biochemistry and Nutrition, and his research contributions are presently disclosed in over 100 primary research publications.
In addition to his research activities, Professor Fukui participates in a number of associations focused on free radical and nutritional research, including the Society of Free Radical Research Japan, the Japan Vitamin Society of Japan.

From 2013 to 2021, Davis Joseph received 18 honors, awards, and distinctions from various Canadian institutions for his academic performance and service to his community. These institutions include the "Collège Notre-Dame," "Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf" (where he received a scholarship of excellence and graduated with a diploma in Health Sciences), the Montreal Geriatric Institution (for his hospital service), the Department of Oncology of the Jewish General Hospital (where he was selected as a student observer), the University of Montreal and the University of Waterloo.

Davis Joseph has achieved success in every field he has participated in. In fact, through his rigorous academic discipline, Davis has distinguished himself in all the educational fields he has studied, receiving merits and distinctions in French, English (twice), Mathematics (twice), natural and Social Sciences (twice), as well as a merit award for his academic results in all fields. He was also acknowledged for his regular contributions to his music department and to Expo- Sciences Hydro-Québec. He was elected class representative in his first year of University. He was a member of the executive council of his student association at the faculty of medicine at the University of Montreal.

His passion for Medical research led him to enroll in Biochemistry. He obtained a bachelor's degree at Concordia University in 2023 and enrolled at McGill University to conduct fundamental research on the translational control of proteins. During his study at McGill, he discovered the cause and the fundamental mechanism of 4E-BP2 deamidation in the nervous system, a problem that the experts in the field could not solve for 20 years. Davis Joseph's discovery paves the way to developing effective treatments against neurodegenerative diseases.

Davis Joseph regularly volunteers at various events. He is dedicated to serving his community and helping whenever possible. His positive attitude and determination make him an excellent student body representative in whatever event he signs up for.

Davis Joseph enjoys playing piano, Jazz, the bassoon, swimming, and basketball.
