SYMPOSIUM and ROUND TABLE TOPICS
  1. Cosmology: measurement of Cosmological Parameters; physics of the early universe. What drives the evolution of the universe as a whole and what is its fate?
  2. Mass Assembly: formation and evolution of galaxies and galaxy over dense regions: How did the Milky Way galaxy grow over time into a massive, star-forming galaxy that supports life?
  3. Gravitational Lensing: dark matter in galaxies and galaxy clusters; distant galaxies at high spatial resolution; transient sources. How do distant galaxies differ from their more local counterparts? What is the nature of dark matter?
  4. Astronomy Sustainability and Infrastructure: global collaboration to maximize scientific return from telescopes, balance energy use, and minimize environmental impacts; space exploration. How can an off-Earth residency help to solve problems of sustainability on our home world?
