International Symposium on Endourology: Innovations, Technology, and Sustainability in Advancing Urological Practices

    Endourology

    SYMPOSIUM and ROUND TABLE TOPICS

Endourology, as its name reflects with endo meaning “within” is an alternative to traditional open surgery in urology. It consists of several minimally invasive procedures performed within the body using surgical instruments and tubes with lighted cameras and. These instruments, which include laparoscopes and endoscopes, can all be easily inserted into the urethra (the tube through which urine leaves the body), or through a small incision in the abdomen, and guided to the appropriate location. As such science and technology that makes possible this alternative method is extremely important and its important rest in interdisciplinary aspect. This international Symposium is dedicated to contributing to the advancement of endourology by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and applying innovative technologies sustainably, aiming for responsible scientific and technological progress. Sharing knowledge, learning from colleagues, and strengthening the bonds in our quest for solutions that positively transform patients' lives sustainably and innovatively. This symposium is an opportunity to participate in an enriching event and to significantly contribute to scientific debates and advancements.

This symposium aims to bring together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field to explore cutting-edge advancements, share best practices, and foster collaboration for a sustainable impact on urological practices worldwide.

    Objectives:

    • Showcasing Innovations: The symposium will provide a platform to showcase the latest innovations in endourology, highlighting technological advancements that are shaping the future of urological care.
    • Educational Workshops: With a focus on education, we plan to conduct workshops aimed at enhancing the practical skills of specialists and providing valuable insights into emerging trends.
    • Global Collaboration: By inviting co-chairs and participants from diverse international backgrounds, we aim to foster a global exchange of ideas, experiences, and solutions for the betterment of urological healthcare on a worldwide scale.
    • Sustainability in Healthcare: Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the theme. We will explore how sustainable practices can be integrated into urological healthcare, ensuring a long-lasting positive impact on both patients and the environment.

The topics of the symposium include but are not limited to:

    • Sustainability in Urology: Ideas for a Greener Future
    • Sterilization of endoscopic instruments
    • Current AI Applications in Endourology
    • Battle of the Titans: Ho:YAG vs. TFL vs. pTM:YAG - From laser physics to its practical application, what are the differences between lasers?
    • Same day discharge - AEEP as a MIST procedure
    • Challenging cases, what are the limits of AEEP?
    • THUFLEP: How do I do it, why do I prefer it?
    • HOLEP: How do I do it, why do I prefer it?
    • THULEP using THULIO: how do I do it, its practical advantages.
    • What are the possibilities of robotic surgery at AEEP?
    • Nightmares in AEEP, how to prevent them and how to manage
    • EPS (enhanced pulse setting) X pulse modulation: Is it a matter of preference or is there a better way to go?
    • Carbon Footprint in Flexible Ureteroscopy
    • Reuse of Single Use Devices in Endourology
    • ECIRS: Decreasing Costs and Increasing Safety
    • Identifying the Risks of Medical Ionizing Radiation in Endourology and Ultrasound Technique for Percutaneous Renal Access
    • Reducing Fluoroscopy Without Ultrasound: 0-90˚ Punction Technique

    • Dust-suction: What we really want and need in RIRS
    • Developments in Ureteral Stent Technology
    • Burst Wave Lithotripsy for Kidney Stones
    • Ballistic + Ultrasound + Suction: Taking lithotripsy to the next level
    • Super Mini-PCNL: Is standard PCNL dead?
    • Emerging Endoscopic Robotic Platforms

    Perspectives:
The symposium envisions becoming a catalyst for positive change in the field of endourology, driving advancements that not only improve patient outcomes but also contribute to the sustainable development of urological practices. We anticipate lively discussions, collaborative initiatives, and the establishment of a global network dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation, technology, and sustainability in urology.
