BRICS for Sustainability 2026 is an important event that will bring together leaders from the founding BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa), and other BRICS members Egypt, Ehiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Emirates and newly added ones, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan, as well as global experts to address urgent challenges related to sustainable urban development, climate action, and economic resilience. This premier event will promote international collaboration, showcasing innovative solutions, and securing funding for sustainability projects. With participation from governments, industry leaders, academic researchers, and municipal representatives, the event will provide a unique opportunity to establish strategic partnerships that drive sustainable change on a global scale.
This event is based on FLOGEN Sustainability Framework as described by Dr. Florian Kongoli in his opening Plenary Lecture at the United Nations Meetings in Geneva in February 2022 (https://www.flogen.org/?p=33&an=2022&m=2). BRICS incorporates summit plenary lectures from well-known speakers that address the successes in various fields in the pursuit of sustainable development, as well as specific symposia related to energy, environment, technol9ogy and politics. A large exhibition of about 2000 sqm is part of the event with participation of Governments, Municipalities, Industrial Companies, Institutions, Universities and NGO. The exhibition will be available during the five days of the event. We are negotiating to have more space, but for now the space for exhibition is limited.
