Short Bio:

Dr. Diogo Santos obtained his Ph.D. at University of Lisbon (Portugal) in 2009 in Chemical Engineering for his studies on the borohydride oxidation reaction. He is currently a permanent researcher of the Center of Physics and Engineering of Advanced Materials (CeFEMA) of University of Lisbon (Portugal). Dr. Santos has authored more than 60 journal papers and over 50 conference proceedings. He has presented more than 20 oral communications and 35 posters in international conferences. He is the Editor-in-chief of Ciência & Tecnologia dos Materiais (Elsevier). His main research interests concern electrochemical energy conversion and storage, namely for the development of low cost electrocatalysts for direct borohydride fuel cells or looking for novel electrocatalysts for hydrogen production by alkaline water electrolysis.
