Short Bio:
PV Aravind is an Asst Professor at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands (Dept. of Process and Energy). His current research topics include Next Generation Power Plants, Bioenergy, Electrochemical Fuel Oxidation, SOFCs, Reversible SOFCs and Gasifier-SOFC systems. He teaches an MSc course on Fuel Cell systems and another one on Thermodynamics of Energy Conversion at Delft. He also teaches a course on Power Plant Thermodynamics at TU Munich in Germany and is a guest lecturer for an MSc course on Thermodynamics at KU Leuven in Belgium. He is leading a team of eight PhD students, two Post Docs, and several MSc students on topics related to fuel cell systems. He is a member of the International Energy Agency SOFC annex. He acts also as the Coordinator of the European Project KnowHy for developing an innovative online cum hands-on training program for hydrogen and fuel cell technicians.
