Dr. Fuhua Yang

Fuhua Yang

Dr. Fuhua Yang (Fukka You:Name in Japan) was born Taipei, Taiwan. She settled down in Japan when she was 3 years old and received all education in Japan. After graduated from Hokuriku University, Faculty of Pharmacy in 2000, she started research on cancer at Gifu University, Graduate School of Medicine. During 2002-2009, she discovered that Immediate Early Gene IEX-1 induces Astrocytic differentiation of Human Glioma cells. She also found that Akt may be associated with resistance to the anticancer drug 5-FU in human squamous cancer cells. As an assistant professor at the Department of Antioxidant Research at Gifu University in 2013 she is studying the effect of Twendee X antioxidant and SUPALIV on many pathological conditions. Currently, a research program on the relationship between Twendee X and intestinal flora has started and expanded in the scope.
