2014 Shechtman International Leadership Award is one of the most prestigious FLOGEN awards named after Prof. Dan Shechtman, 2011 Nobel Laureate.

Following on the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieve further recognition, Prof. Randy W. Schekman, University of California, Berkeley, USA, is elected in October 2014, Member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM), now the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
